DCI Indonesia Enables Microsoft ExpressRoute Through Partnership with Equinix

JAKARTA – August 7, 2017 – DCI Indonesia, the first Uptime Institute Design Certified Tier IV data center in Southeast Asia, today announced the launch of its new product, DCI CloudConnect, through its partnership with Equinix (Nasdaq: EQIX), the global interconnection and data center company. DCI CloudConnect is a product to help customers connect to global cloud providers via private network hence ensuring security and predictable performance. This product is taking advantage of Equinix Cloud ExchangeTM in Singapore.
Many companies are looking to deploy hybrid clouds through private interconnection, to reap the scalability and cost benefits of the cloud, while maintaining the control of on-premises infrastructure. According to Frost & Sullivan, Indonesia is expected to experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 38.6% cloud services spending growth between 2016 and 2022. With this rapid adoption of Cloud, DCI has prepared the shortcut to global cloud for enterprises while maintaining data residency in region.
The new feature will address demands for secure and reliable interconnection to global cloud providers in Indonesia and accelerate global cloud adoption through private network. It will allow enterprises to access global cloud through a secure and reliable exchange in DCI’s premise with lower latency more cost efficiently.
