Indonesia's growing data center industry needs more than infrastructure — it needs skilled people to run it. DCI Indonesia supports that need through the Nusantara Data Center Academy (NDCA), an industry-led program combining technical training, certification, and hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT).

On 20 June 2026, 54 students from eight vocational schools and polytechnics across Indonesia graduated from NDCA Batch 2. Around 70% are already working or in the placement process, expected to be completed by September 2026.

This marks DCI Indonesia's 2nd consecutive year supporting the program as an NDCA Industry OJT Partner. Since the program's inception, students have trained inside a live, operational data center, covering power systems, cooling, automation, monitoring, and preventive maintenance.

This year, DCI Indonesia received the Best OJT Partner Award, accepted by Indri Koesindrijastoeti H., Director of Corporate Affairs & Corporate Secretary.

The results have names. Chandra Hady Winata, a graduate of SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, was named Best Graduate of NDCA Batch 2. During his OJT at DCI Indonesia, he worked hands-on to optimize Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) — a core measure of how efficiently a data center runs. That work translated directly into a role: this past April, Chandra joined DCI Indonesia's Facility Management team.

Azka Algian walked the same path first. Best Graduate of NDCA Batch 1, he completed his OJT at DCI Indonesia and joined the IT & Automation team shortly after. Nearly a year later, he's still there — proof that DCI's talent pipeline doesn't end at graduation or a single OJT placement, but leads to a lasting career.

Chandra and Azka represent two batches, two teams, and one consistent outcome: students who train at DCI Indonesia go on to build their careers here.

Building Indonesia's digital future takes more than world-class infrastructure — it takes the people behind it. As the industry grows, so does our responsibility to develop them.
